This past month we had a family member lose a brother to texting and driving.   This young man was only 19 years old and had his whole life ahead.  What a tragic, senseless nightmare.   The whole family has been devastated.  

Watch this video of texting while driving accidents. Anyone who thinks this simple little act is harmless – needs to watch and listen to this video.   Every parent needs to warn their teen about this hazard.    Many times our teens think that could never happen to me and if it happens I’m only hurting myself but that couldn’t be farther from the truth, the pain and hurt of this young mans family is heart wrenching.   The dangers of cell phone texting while driving are very real and have been compared to drunk driving.   Please take time to watch and talk about this with your family.
